    Hospice Volunteer Coordinator

    BAYADA Hospice is seeking a dynamic Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for a full time position in our Vermont Rutland Hospice office, located in Rutland, Vermont.  This office services clients in territories throughout Addison, Rutland, and Bennington counties.


    The Hospice Volunteer Coordinator leads volunteers in providing excellent customer service and quality hospice care with focus on coordination and delivery of volunteer services. This is a paid position with mileage reimbursement for travel.


    The Hospice Volunteer Coordinator will:

    • Be responsible for recruiting, orienting, coordinating, and supporting a team of hospice volunteers
    • Assist with initial and on-going training of volunteer staff
    • Introduce volunteers to our clients in their homes
    • Coordinate home visits for volunteers
    • Provide on-going support and recognition programs for volunteers
    • Maintain required documentation




    Qualifications for Hospice Volunteer Coordinator:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience in recruiting, human resources, or marketing
    • Prior healthcare or hospice experience a plus
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor a team
    • Highly motivated and goal oriented
    • Possess the desire to grow with the office and the company
    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
