    Clinical RN Specialist - Policy Development & Accreditation

    Responsibilities

     

    • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission The BAYADA Way, services, people, and organization as well as all accreditation standards and requirements.
    • Work with the team to manage and oversee clinical policy activities as single point of contact in supporting offices undergoing accreditation and external regulatory surveys.
    • Participate as liaison to other support offices as needed, provide ongoing communication regarding survey status and outcomes and assisting the service office in obtaining and presenting requested policies and/or other corporate documents.
    • Coordinate and collaborate in development of Plans of Correction (POC), with appropriate service and support leadership, and provide guidance to service offices related to the process of development and submission of POCs.  
    • Develop educational materials for office and field staff as part of plans of correction, on accreditation standards and related policies and practices.
    • Conduct education on clinical policies, procedures, accreditation, regulatory survey management, and required elements of plans of correction as needed or requested.
    • Oversee development of clinical policies and forms.
    • Assist with on-site survey support as needed or requested.
    • Demonstrate competence in reliable and accurate interpretation of standards and policies.

     

    Qualifications

    • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
    • A current RN license is required. A four year degree is preferred.
    • At least 2-3 years recent home health care experience; prior management experience is preferred; must possess practical experience and a working knowledge of accreditation requirements, policies, and operations.
    • Proven managerial track record with desire for continued advancement.
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, with demonstrated competence in the basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
    • Excellent editorial skills as well as being detail oriented; possesses the ability to facilitate and organize; able to arrange information and files in a useful manner.
    • Excellent customer service, communication and writing skills required.
    • Able to handle multiple assignments.
    • Flexible and willing to travel.
