We are seeking a Director, Marketing Strategy to join our growing team of dedicated, driven professionals.


    This Specialty Practice liaison position: (1) partners with, and provides thought leadership to, BAYADA’s Specialty Practice areas in establishing marketing strategy and shaping programs that drive practice area business goals while supporting the company’s brand (2) oversees the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns aimed at driving revenue growth, recruiting, market share, and other business priorities and (3) accomplishes these objectives in alignment with The BAYADA Way and BAYADA’s enterprise business strategy and brand standards.


    The Director, Marketing Strategy reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.



    • By being embedded, the Director partners with, and provides thought leadership to, Specialty Practice management to develop marketing strategy, plans, and campaigns. Primary areas of focus include: attraction and lead generation, recruiting (attraction to conversion), B2B/C awareness building, strategic selling, and brand development.
    • Leads/manages through assigned practice managers (Pediatrics/Behavioral Health/Habilitation, Home Health/Hospice, Adult Nursing, Assistive Care/Assistive Care State Programs).
    • Provides support at the Specialty Practice level by collaborating with fellow functional partners (HR, Finance, etc.).
    • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to establish priorities, align objectives, and ensure funding needed to support the strategy and execute the plans.
    • Oversees the execution of marketing plans from conception through completion. This is typically achieved through direct supervision of account management staff with responsibility for project planning and execution.
    • Helps develop toolboxes, frameworks, and processes.
    • Drives objectives/goals/expectations and coaches/manages/develops team. Creates an environment that is conducive to teamwork, breakthrough creativity, and innovation. Sets measurable goals and examines ways to raise standards, increase quality, and improve team performance. Implements and utilizes dashboards and other metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Helps shape the market research agenda for Specialty Practices by working with RAI (Research, Analytics, and Innovation) and other vendors/sources. Identifies key marketplace insights and the need for further research. Partners with Specialty Practice management and directs market research to identify and articulate business needs and related marketing opportunities. 
    • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve marketing content and brand positioning critical to BAYADA Specialty Practices. Ensures a consistent feedback loop across relevant stakeholder groups.
    • Develops and maintains broad knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, and industry developments specific to Specialty Practices.

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. An MBA or a Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of marketing or related professional experience, including eight (8) years of account management-like experience and five (5) years of direct supervisory experience.
    • Experience in the health care industry is preferred.
    • Proven track record of business strategy development and implementation. Extensive experience developing marketing tools, systems and frameworks to drive business outcomes at the business unit level through a hybrid approach (center-led strategies and tactics but tailored through a freedom-within-a-framework approach for the unique business conditions and dynamics of each respective practice area).
    • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management, planning/forecasting, and changing market dynamics.
    • Rooted in a deep appreciation for the business conditions, dynamics and needs of the practice areas while expertly applying ability to analyze, assess and optimize campaigns for greatest impact.
    • Critical thinker and creative problem solver.
    • Confident in presenting and “selling” strategy and execution plans including creative concepts.
    • Thorough knowledge of print and digital media production.
