    Part-time On-Call Manager opportunity in our Central Delaware Adult Nursing home care office.  

     

    Are you looking for a part-time job that will allow you to work from home nights and weekends?  If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

     

    In this role, you will function as a Part-time On Call Manager, covering 7 days on, 7 days off, totaling approximately 2 weeks per month. Weeknight shift hours are 5:00pm-8:30am. Weekend shift hours are Friday at 5:00pm to Monday at 8:30am.  On Call Managers must call into the office at the beginning and end of each shift to give report. 

     

    Internal candidates - if interested, we will require that you cover only Central Delaware Adult Nursing(CDN) while on shift, in order to ensure appropriate attention be given to this office. Also you must be local to Delaware (NY, MD, PA, NJ) to complete DE state requirements.

     

    External candidates - training for this position must be completed in the Central Delaware Adult Nursing office (located in Dover, DE) during regular business hours.  Training usually lasts approximately two weeks. 

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Working as an On Call Manager will allow you to function as an extension of our office team during non-business hours, utilizing your customer service and health-care experience to earn additional income while in the comfort of your own home. Responsibilities include:

    • Coordinate home health care services for our adult clients while the office is closed
    • Answer all calls to the office, addressing them accordingly
    • Document all calls on nightly "call log"
    • Forward call log to the office staff by 8:35am the next morning
    • Call office approximately 10 minutes prior to each shift to take report
    • Act as the "face" of the office during non business hours

    Typical calls will include questions from families, direction requests from staff, call outs, potential clients, and care-givers (RNs, LPNs, HHAs) seeking employment with the office. The ideal candidate will have staff scheduling experience and be able to multi-task in a calm and compassionate manner.

     

    Qualifications

    * At least 1 year of professional work experience

    * Strong customer service skills

    * Demonstrated ability to resolve scheduling and customer service issues

    * Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

    * You must have access to a computer during on-call hours

    * Ability to work night and weekend shifts

    * Ability to train during regular business hours
