    Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) Registered Nurse

     

    BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Behavioral Health RN, Registered Nurse making home care visits to clients in Plymouth, Carver, Kingston and surrounding towns. A minimum of one year of experience as a Psychiatric or Behavioral Health Registered Nurse is required and prior home care experience is preferred, but not required.  As a home care psychiatric nurse, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to maintain their independence.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this Behavioral Health (Psychaitric) Registered Nurse include:

     

    • Making home visits to clients with specific behavioral health conditions, including depression and anxiety disorders
    • Making visits to clients in Plymouth and surrounding towns
    • Performing assigned duties, including psychiatric medication management, wound care, treatments and procedures
    • Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical Manager or Client Services Manager
    • Following up with, executing and properly documenting doctors' orders on a touch screen tablet
    • Performing client assessments as necessary
    • Case management and coordination

    Qualifications

    Qualifications for this Behavioral Health Registered Nurse include:

    • A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
    • A minimum of one year of behavioral health RN experience
    • A minimum of one year of recent, clinical (medical/surgical) experience
    • Prior home care experience preferred
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
    • Ability to travel to cases as assigned
