BAYADA Hospice, Weekend On-Call Triage RN

Part Time/Full Time

BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse, RN, for a part time/full time weekend on-call triage position performing after hour and weekend triage for our Pennsylvania Hospice specialty practice. Our offices service clients located in multiple counties in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. This position is responsible for answering calls for multiple offices during assigned hours, triaging, and contacting on-call RN office nurses to make home visits as needed. The RN Triage nurse is required to assist with weekend client visits, as needed. The ideal candidate will be centrally located within our service area due to the need to assist multiple offices with some weekend visits. Our offices are located in Media, Jamison and Boyertown, PA. Position is primarily weekends but occasional weeknights required to cover time off for other team members.

Prior Hospice experience strongly preferred. As a Hospice on-call  nurse you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and other services to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) or Hospice experience.
• Hospice experience strongly preferred
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
