The On-Call Manager works from home to schedule home health care services during non-business hours for the clients of our Pinellas County Skilled Adult Nursing office.  We provide 24 hours of care, so we will need you to take calls starting at 5pm until 8:30 am the next morning; Monday through Friday and 24 hrs a day on Saturday and Sunday.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to multi-task in a calm and compassionate manner. Responsibilities include:


  • Message retrieval from our answering service
  • Problem solving
  • Emergency handling 
  • Promptly returning calls
  • Covering call-outs, and
  • Coordination of all clinical issues with the on-call nurse.

You will be trained in the office to manage this position from your home. You will be provided with a cell phone. We will also connect you to our office staff web site if you have your own computer.



  • Staff scheduling experience (within home care preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Strong computer skills a must
