BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a temp to perm Paralegal.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a generalist, preferably in a corporate (non law firm) environment.  Previous experience working in a health care or medical setting is a big plus.  In this role you will manage incidents within certain states, assist with corporate leases, compliance, employment law, contracts and service agreements, federal and state specific research, loss prevention and litigation.  The ability to quickly get up to speed, and to manage multiple and varied responsibilities is essential.  The ideal candidate will have experience using data and trends to write business reports for senior leaders.  Experience writing from a place of advocacy for position statements is a plus.  



  • Manage client-related incidents
  • Resolve compliance issues
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements
  • Assist with corporate real-estate, leases, acquisitions
  • Handle medical records requests
  • Respond to employment law inquiries
  • Conduct state specific and federal legal research
  • Perform data entry
  • Be a legal resource for all BAYADA offices



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Paralegal Certification required
  • Prior experience in a corporate environment, preferably health care
  • An understanding of healthcare
  • Superior written & oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision
  • Computer savvy
  • Strong critical thinking skills
