Responsibilities

 

The On-Call Manager is responsible for coordinating home health care services during non-business hours for our clients. We provide 24 hours of care, so we will need you to take call starting at 5pm till 8:30 am the next morning; Monday through Friday and 24 hrs a day on Sat and Sun.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have staff scheduling experience and be able to multi-task in a calm and compassionate manner. Responsibilities include retrieving messages from our answering service, problem solving, handling emergencies, returning calls promptly, covering call-outs, and coordinating all clinical issues with the on-call nurse.

You will be trained in the office to manage this position from your home. You will be provided with a cell phone and fax machine. We will also connect you to our office staff web site if you have your own computer.

Qualifications

  • Staff scheduling experience (within home care preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Strong computer skills a must
