BAYADA Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced On Call Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN responsible for triaging calls after hours during the week (5pm-8:30am) for our Central Pennsylvania Senior Living and Harrisburg Visits office located in Harrisburg, PA


BAYADA Senior Living offers a comprehensive continuum of care to its clients, including traditional home care under the Medicare Part A benefit, as well as outpatient therapy services under the Medicare Part B benefit.  The foundation of the program is exceptional clinical care and relationship management as BAYADA clinicians become a true healthcare partner in the senior living communities.  Communities include assisted living, independent living, senior congregate living, 55+ communities, and intermediate care facilities for clients with intellectual disabilities. 




On-Call LPN Responsibilities include:

  • Answer all phone calls, from your home, from clients or employees, weekday evenings from 5:00PM to 8:30AM Monday-Friday
  • Contact the Weekend Nurse to coordinate visits to patients, as necessary.
  • Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories as needed
  • Complete all necessary documentation using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Electronic Medical Records System.


Qualifications for a LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Have a current license as a LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • Have at least one year of verifiable work experience as a LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Graduate of an accredited and approved nursing program as indicated by school transcript or diploma
  • Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
  • Achieve a passing score on written examinations
  • Have a criminal background check completed
  • Meet all competency, experience, and educational requirements in accordance with BAYADA Qualifications and Code policies as applicable to care and services to be performed
  • Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
  • Ability to travel to cases as assigned
