This position plays a key role in the continuous improvement and evolution of BAYADA’s overall strategy to help achieve the vision of serving millions of clients worldwide. As a representative of Home Care specialty practices, this position plays a key role defining and delivering large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives that incorporate a proactive and innovative approach to address business challenges while achieving organizational goals and objectives. The position supports the development of clearly defined business cases supporting a well-defined need for change, desired outcomes, accurate scope, clear roles and decision-making. Accountable for translating business strategies into concrete solutions by partnering with senior leadership to define, plan for, prioritize, deliver & support evolving strategic capabilities to ensure maximum value is derived from investments. Candidate will serve as a senior partner to the Home Care specialty practices to ensure that critical business capabilities are assessed, developed & delivered using best practice methodologies in process excellence, project management, facilitation, problem solving, stakeholder engagement and communications. By creating strong partnerships with key business leaders from specialty practices across the company, this position will help create long term strategies, innovations, core standards, policies and procedures to differentiate BAYADA as the employer of choice and the most trusted team of home health care professionals.


As the Director of Strategic Business Solutions you will: 


  • Ensures the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are being fully realized throughout the enterprise.
  • Create strong business partnerships with the Home Care Management Committee, Practice Leaders, Regional Directors, Division Directors and Service Office Directors to integrate strategic business initiatives, planning activities and performance improvement into the overall long-range plans.
  • In collaboration with Home Care Management Team, will conceptualize and develop innovative solutions that improve business processes and address complex business issues.
  • Partners with Home Care Management Team to define, plan for, prioritize, deliver & support evolving strategic capabilities.
  • Accountable for translating enterprise strategies into concrete solutions.
  • Understand and document current business procedures, and then identify areas for improvement.
  • Provides project management oversight for cross-functional teams to deliver agreed upon solutions.
  • Ensure key result areas in business service strategy/planning, project strategy, planning, communication and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensures critical capabilities are assessed, developed and implemented with consideration of Service Offices and associated personnel impact.
  • Partners with Home Care Management Team to develop and facilitate best practices and innovative solutions
  • Communicates complicated matters in a simple structured way to senior management.
  • Gets work done through cooperation with other groups with no direct reporting relationships to the position.
  • Superior knowledge of vendor management, value versus maturity analysis, build versus buy
  • Understands key drivers of technology service management
  • Collaborates with Home Care Services organization to ensure alignment/changes to Operating Model, Playbook, Communication, Training and/or Change Management activities are identified and in place to successfully deliver solutions.
  • Demonstrates ability to learn, understand and collaborate with technology vendors to deliver innovate solutions.
  • Perform market and competitor analysis and business domain analysis.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Health Care or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with at least 2 years of management experience (people, project or program)
  • Experience leading high performing teams, large scale initiatives and projects.
  • Experience supervising employees at various levels.
  • Possess problem solving ability, leadership skills and be able to foster interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to lead, manage and participate on cross functional teams effectively with a consulting style to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the groups of employees, managers, directors and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, motivate and be self-motivated, flexible, versatile, and creative.
  • Ability to impact and influence without direct authority across business lines and functional support groups.
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma/Lean certification(s) a plus
